Can US military pilots with a ATP obtained in the US and married to a UK citizen apply for the military pilot program?

I am a US military pilot about to marry a UK citizen. I have a valid passport in the US and intend to get a US ATP. Would I be eligible to apply for a pilot position with British Airways?

    Hi Thomas, in order to apply for a pilot position with us you would need to hold a UK-issued CAA Flight Crew Licence.

    The licence transfer process can be lengthy, which is why all would need to be converted before an application could be considered.

    Another thing to consider is the military experience that counts towards flight hours/sectors required to apply - this all depends on type flown and crew configuration. If you need any further information on this then please don't hesitate to get in touch.
