DHDan H. Cabin Crew
Hi, thanks for your question.
Having asthma doesn’t automatically prevent you from becoming cabin crew with British Airways. What matters is that your asthma is well controlled and that you’re medically fit to carry out the role safely. As part of the recruitment process, all candidates complete a medical assessment, and this is where an aviation medical professional will review your individual circumstances.
Many people with asthma work successfully as cabin crew, but each case is looked at on its own merits. If you’re managing your condition well and it doesn’t affect your ability to perform safety duties, it may not be an issue.
I hope that helps 😊
Dan
