Could you please tell me how long is the training for cabin crew and would I have to move closer to the airport I would be training at? Also how do you go about applying for cabin crew positions as I have seen an advert for a cabin crew position.

Tia B. asked a question to Dan H.

I apologise for so many questions, it’s just I am very interested in this opportunity and career path. Many thanks

    Hi, thanks for your question.

To apply for a cabin crew role, you can join our Cabin Crew Talent Pool.

Cabin crew training is around 12 weeks and takes place near the airport base you join. During training, you will need to be based close to Heathrow or Gatwick depending on the fleet, as attendance is required each day. Crew who do not live locally often choose to stay in nearby hotels or crew accommodation for the duration of the training period.

Once you begin flying, it can be easier to live further away, as you will have more flexibility with your roster and many crew choose to commute.

You can find more detail on the Cabin Crew FAQ page.

    I hope that helps 😊

    Dan
