Do you start on the A320 family once you've completed your ATPL? Or are you placed on any plane that has availability

I am looking at going through the Speedbird Program and I'm wondering if everyone starts on the same type of plane or if it's different for every person.

    Hi. When you first qualify following the Speedbird Academy route you will be flying a Shorthaul aircraft at Heathrow as a mainline pilot or Gatwick as a Euroflyer pilot. Both fleets fly the A320 family at this time. I hope this helps. Good luck with your application if you choose this route!
