EASA and UK CAA licence holder with expired instrument rating on the UK CAA licence
I have both a UK CAA licence and EASA licence. As my current company only fly EASA registered aircraft, my current type rating is on my EASA licence only and the ratings on my UK CAA licence (including instrument rating) have expired. Am I still eligible to apply as a direct entry FO?

Hi.
If you have a UK licence it is a relatively easy process to convert. Please check the requirements for the relevant route here; Third Country CPL and ATPL licence conversion requirements from 1 January 2023 | Civil Aviation Authority (caa.co.uk).
You will be eligible to apply as a direct entry FO if you meet all the other criteria. Please upload both your EASA and UK licence to the application and add details as to which route you will take to convert your EASA licence.
We look forward to your application.
Best wishes
Kate
