Hello! I am a 19 year old British-Canadian. I grew up in Canada so I have a category 1 medical. Is that transferable?

Hi.
To work in the UK you would need a UK Class 1 medical. If you do not already hold a Class 1 UK medical certificate, you must contact an AeMC to undergo an Initial medical examination. AeMCs are specially approved medical facilities authorised to issue UK medical certificates for pilots.
You can get more details here; https://www.caa.co.uk/Commercial-industry/Pilot-licences/Medical/Apply-for-a-Class-1-medical-certificate/.
I hope this helps.
Kate
