Hello I have a tattoo behind my ear but I'm removing it right know it’s still ok to apply ?

    Hi Camille, thanks for your question.

    If you currently have a tattoo behind your ear, it wouldn’t meet the uniform standards while it’s still visible. However, if you’re in the process of having it removed and it will be fully gone or no longer visible by the time you attend an assessment or start training, then it’s fine to apply.

    What’s important is that at the point of assessment and employment, there are no visible tattoos when wearing the British Airways uniform, and tattoos can’t be covered with plasters, bandages or makeup. If you’re confident the tattoo will no longer be visible, applying now is absolutely reasonable.
