    Hi Harry.
I think it is important to be welcoming and friendly with our customers and to keep people informed regarding the flight, especially when there are delays. My aim is to give customers clear and accurate information, not using technical language and being available for questions when delays are significant.
I enjoy welcoming people to the flight deck when we have a long time on the ground and encouraging people to ask questions and show them a little of what we do. Hopefully we inspire a few future pilots! I would also welcome nervous flyers to come and meet us as for some it takes away the mystery. Personal interaction is very powerful.
I hope this answers your question.
    Have a great day.
    Kate
