You don’t need to complete any external cabin crew training before applying to British Airways. If you’re successful in the recruitment process, BA provides full training, including safety and emergency procedures, customer service and onboard operations. The course prepares you for the role from the very beginning, so you don’t need previous experience in aviation.

What’s most important is building strong people skills through work or life experience, such as communication, teamwork and staying calm under pressure. Any customer-facing role is great preparation.
