Hi, is it OK if I go to the university? Or should I start training after college to become an airline pilot?

It is been my childhood dream to become a pilot and I'm too confused with what to do after school.

    Hi Arathi.

There is no set path to becoming a pilot. Often life experience can benefit you greatly and you should choose the path that suits you. For the Speedbird Pilot Academy you only require GCSE’s and most flight schools will be the same.

I did a degree and worked for a few years before getting a cadetship with British Airways, others came straight from school. Often people work to save for their training or make a career change so start this later in life.

I wish you all the best whichever path you choose.
