    Hello,

We're delighted to hear that you are interested in becoming a pilot at British Airways.

We mostly suggest that you choose subjects which you enjoy. We have many pilots from varied backgrounds and this often makes them brilliant at what they do when it comes with a passion to deliver excellent service, safely. If you are interested in our fully funded Speedbird Pilot pathway, you can read up on our requirements here: https://careers.ba.com/speedbird-pilot-academy-preparation

All our applications will clearly define education requirements and more. So feel free to have a look at current applications as part of your research too https://careers.ba.com/

We look forward to seeing you as a future pilot.

    Hi.

I agree with Ravina that doing subjects you enjoy is important. Having a maths and science background can be beneficial during your studies and we use a lot of mental maths on the flight deck. There is some great guidance on our website under the future pilot careers section on the qualities that we look for in our pilots.

I hope this has answered your question.

    Best wishes

    Kate
