British Airways has supported my career growth by giving me opportunities to step into new roles and develop along the way. I’ve had the chance to take on a secondment as a crew trainer, which allowed me to support and coach others while building my own confidence and skills.

I’ve also progressed into a managerial role on board, and I wasn’t expected to figure it out on my own. A training programme was provided to guide me and help me feel confident in the role, especially when it comes to leadership and decision making in a live operational environment.

There are also lots of opportunities outside of the cabin crew role. Many crew get involved in things like being brand ambassadors, supporting marketing campaigns, or gaining experience in different areas of the business. Because BA is such a large company, there are plenty of opportunities to explore if you want to grow and try something new.
