Hi Giles - we're an equal opportunities employer and will do everything within our power to make the necessary adjustments to ensure you can perform at your best during the assessment. As part of your application, you will be provided with an opportunity to provide us with details of any diagnoses and additional support you require - we do not stipulate any recency to this information. What matters for us is for you to ensure you have everything you feel you need to be at your best. Please do reach out to our team at recruitment@jobs.ba.com if you have any further queries on what support we can offer.

Hi Giles, if you're looking to pursue a career as an airline pilot, you'll need to obtain a Class 1 Medical certificate. These are issued by an Aeromedical Examiner who can advise if a historic diagnosis is relevant now.
While we always do all that we possibly can to ensure that applicants have the assistance they need to perform to their best on assessments, to apply for a pilot position, reading and word recognition aids are not available. This is due to the nature of the job role.
Further information on dyslexia and how this is considered when applying for the required medical certificate can be found on the website for the UK Civil Aviation Authority - https://www.caa.co.uk/aeromedical-examiners/medical-standards/pilots/
On that site, you can also search for your nearest Aeromedical Examiner who will be able to give you more information on this.
