DHDan H. Cabin Crew
Hi Jagdeep, thanks for your question.
In terms of height, British Airways does not set a minimum height requirement. What’s important is that all applicants are able to demonstrate a functional reach of at least 2.01 metres during the functionality check, as this ensures crew can safely access equipment on board. With a height of 165 cm, many people are able to meet this requirement, but it is assessed during the recruitment process.
Regarding your turban, British Airways supports religious expression, and Sikh crew members are able to wear a turban as part of their uniform, provided it meets safety and uniform guidelines.
As you mentioned you are from India, it’s also important to know that for UK based cabin crew roles you must already have the unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom, as BA is not able to sponsor visas for these positions. British Airways does sometimes recruit cabin crew locally in other countries, including India, but those campaigns are advertised separately.
I hope that helps 😊
Dan
