I'm a Year 12 A-level student who turns 18 on the 5th of January 2026, with huge ambitions and commitment to become a pilot, just wondering how strict the age requirements are for the 1st of January since I am 4 days out?

    Thank you for your message. 

    The requirement is to be 18 by 1st Jan 2027. If you turn 18 on 5th Jan 2027, you will not be able to apply this year.
