Is BA recruitment team still doing virtual assessment?

Actually i got an email saying that i was selected to come to an assessment centre, is it possible to make a special request if i can conduct it virtually, reason is i live in canada, and if i will pass the interview i will immediately relocate to UK at my own cost. Please advise.
