Is National 5 Applications of Maths accepted as an equivalent to National 5 Maths for entry to the Speed Bird Academy?

The young person I am working with wants to eventually be a Pilot and is picking his school subjects. Should he do Maths or os Applications of Maths accepted? What subjects/level of qualification would you advise the young person to have? Many thanks

    Hi.


    I have been advised that you would need pure maths for the Speedbird Pilot Academy at this time, along with English language and a core science. This may change and there are several routes to becoming a pilot but this is the situation for now.
