    Hi.

When you begin a new role in British Airways you currently have a six year freeze. This can change if fleet requirements dictate a need, but is a general guide. You would be eligible to then apply for long haul positions, however for a long haul command, it is currently taking about 18 to 20 years within the company as we work on a seniority system. Right hand seat positions will be available much sooner.

    I hope this is helpful.

    Best wishes

    Kate
