Newly qualified pathway question

Hi Kate, I recently completed my training this year. However unfortunately I had a hiccup during the CPL Skill Test resulting in a second series pass. As far as I’ve seen the newly qualified pathaways, while applications are currently closed, require a first series pass in both the CPL and IR. Would you happen to know if these requirements would be changing in the near future?

    Hi.

    Thanks for your message. You are not alone with hiccups during training but it is unlikely that the requirements of British Airways will change. We take on Direct Entry Pilots so there will be a route to us later in your career. 

    I recommend applying to all opportunities and being flexible where possible. Every new experience is really valuable in building your abilities and competence. Good luck with the next stage of your flying journey and we hope to see you at British Airways in the future.
