We have some amazing colleague network groups, one of those being Flying Proud, which is a network to support the LGBTQ+ community and allies. We also have a dedicated D,E&I team that ensure we are hitting diversity and inclusion targets company wide. We have regular communications and events to support the LGBTQ+ community throughout the year. Within my department (Revenue Management) we have a people plan which is colleague led and there is a dedicated group of people spreading awareness of inclusive topics and ensuring the department is an inclusive place to work.

As a transgender woman, I feel more comfortable working at British Airways than I have at any other employer as I feel that my unique and identity is embraced at British Airways. When I took part in a national campaign for a LGBTQ+ charity this was shared on our internal intranet and received a lot of positive comments by colleagues. Our internal LGBTQ+ network, Flying Proud, is also active providing a safe space for colleagues and regularly hosting events to help educate colleagues.
