Hi Joy, thanks for your message.
British Airways doesn’t have a minimum height requirement for cabin crew. What’s important is that all applicants are able to reach 2.01 metres on the vertical arm reach test while standing flat-footed and without shoes. This is to ensure that crew can safely access all emergency equipment and overhead lockers on board.
BA does have cabin crew bases in India, but you would need to wait and apply specifically for that recruitment campaign when it opens. Each campaign is managed locally and will list the eligibility criteria and application process for that base.
You can find more about the role and requirements on the Cabin Crew FAQ page and register for job alerts to stay up to date with new opportunities.
I hope that helps 😊

Hi Joy,
Yes, that’s correct. The height and reach requirements are the same for all applicants, regardless of gender. The key point is being able to reach 2.01 metres safely while standing flat-footed and without shoes.
You can find more details about the role on the Cabin Crew FAQ page and stay updated on upcoming opportunities by registering for job alerts.
I hope that helps 😊

Thank you so much for this information as in India they don't train less than 5.7 for males that very sad for me. But after your confirmation for sure I ll get through it.
