    Hi, thanks for your question.

A career in cabin crew at British Airways can take many different paths, depending on what interests you and how you want to develop. Many people start by focusing on becoming confident and experienced in the core cabin crew role, building strong safety awareness, customer care skills and teamwork.

From there, some crew choose to progress into onboard leadership roles. This could include becoming a cabin manager or working in a more senior cabin position, where you take on greater responsibility for safety, service delivery and supporting the crew. These roles are supported by dedicated training programmes to help you step up confidently.

Others explore opportunities beyond day to day flying. Because British Airways is a large organisation, there are chances to take on secondments or additional roles such as crew trainer, brand ambassador, supporting recruitment or being involved in marketing and special projects. Some people also move into ground based or office roles over time, using the experience they have gained in the cabin.

There is no single career path and progression looks different for everyone. What British Airways encourages is development at your own pace, with support and training available when you are ready to take the next step.

    I hope that helps 😊

    Dan
