Hello, Thanks for your question. To become a Duty Manager, I don't think there is a one size fits all answer as myself and my colleagues have all come from a variety of different backgrounds which I think is essential in building a strong team.

I have many colleagues who I currently work with and have worked with previously who have come from a crew background, without a degree. So I think it is possible, as long as you can showcase your people management and leadership skills when going for such a role. Duty Management roles require strong, resilient and operationally focused individuals so if that is something that resonates with you, then I am sure you would be a great candidate for such a role.
