When applying for a head office role, how many years of previous employment references are required?

    I would agree with Benedict's comment. Each role may have varying reference requirements depending on the security requirements of the role. But generally it can be anything from 2-5 years previous employment or education history. Recruitment would confirm what the requirements are for your individual application, so please do reach out to them with your question for the role you are applying for.

    Hi Tracy, former colleagues should ask the company requesting the reference to email reference@email.ba.com, clearly stating that an employment reference is required. To avoid delays, they should include the full name, staff number and National Insurance number, plus their postal address and telephone number. Hope this helps!
