Will Speedbird be a continuing option to enrol as a pilot in training or will this be a limited time scheme for 2025?

I am wanting to sign up to the Speedbird course but I am currently doing a apprenticeship degree and will finish roughly around 2027, worried I would have missed my chance to enter this amazing opportunity or will there be an annual intake of 100 - 200 candidates from now on?

    Hello Ashley, sign up to the job alerts for Pilots on our Careers Site and you will be notified when the next application opens. Each year this is reviewed. Successful applicants for 2025 would be trained in 2026.

    British Airways is currently reviewing when it will welcome applications for Speedbird Pilot Academy again in future, and more information will be made available on the careers website when this is confirmed. We will always ensure that enough notice is provided to candidates who wish to create an application for the Academy.
    The experience you gain should be valuable for your application too as hopefully it will help you develop skills you would need for the flight deck environment.
