Would I be able to live in the town of Oxfordshire if I’m a pilot as it’s an hour and 9 minutes drive from London

Hi.
It is important that you arrive at work sufficiently rested. Depending on the time of day you travel, often at unsociable times as a pilot, you would need to consider your journey time and whether staying at a hotel or in other accommodation is more suitable in some cases. I pass Oxford on my commute to Heathrow and have not found this to be an issue, whereas other colleagues prefer to stay closer to the airport before an early start.
On reserve (standby) we need to be able to reach the car park within 2 hours so you would not have any concerns regarding this.
I hope this helps,
Kate
