About Joe B.
Key experience
Biggest career move was moving out of audit and into the industry world. I worked in audit for 5 years before I looked for a new challenge at British Airways and haven't looked back since!
Current position
I provide financial analysis for aircraft requirements, support delivery of aircraft and oversee budgets on current projects, whilst managing the financial reporting cycle for Fleet.
Main motivation
I work with people across the business including our Customer, Engineering and Operations team to ensure we meet their requirements when delivering aircraft into the fleet as well as monitoring the financial status of the project.
Top advice

The relationships you build in every role and the credibility you build will provide you with timely and accurate information to make the right decisions.
Greatest achievement
In 2023, we launched a campaign to purchase a number of aircraft which I supported with the financial modelling. We subsequently have placed the order and look forward to delivery!
