About Macorley C.

Key experience
I started my career as Cabin Crew, before becoming Senior Cabin Crew and working as part of the Cabin Crew Recruitment team. After studying Business Management at The Open University, I discovered a combined passion and interest for how British Airways operates in a modern, contemporary business environment. I had ambitions of being part of our head office team - this year, that came to life when I decided to stop flying full-time and begin a career within our head office here in Waterside. I was lucky enough to secure a new role within our fantastic Customer and Brand team where I lead and support specific business projects, champion new innovations, analysis data and implement an holistic business approach across functions . Part of my role is to work with all of our teams in the Customer and Brand umbrella - from our fantastic teams in in our Global Engagement Centers in Newcastle, our Concorde Team at Terminal 5 or within Waterside. Everyday, I am proud to represent British Airways and I am looking forward to seeing what the future brings!
Current position
I offer business support across our teams within Customer and Brand. I assist the Customer and Brand leadership team across the department through effective collaboration and playing a key part in enabling the implementation of the customer experience strategy. Part of my role is consistently champion innovation and implement application of effective practices. I lead on business projects and assist with the implementation of new innovations as part of our customer transformational strategy.
Main motivation

My main motivations is that I believe in our innovations to enhance the customer journey at every possibility! I love being part of a team that is so passionate about our customers experience and balancing our most important pillar, always being safe and secure! Together, our colleagues deliver a world-class service to customers globally and deliver the best of modern Britain, both on the ground and in the skies.

Greatest achievement

To pin an achievement down to a single point, would be tough.. there are just so many! I got selected to operate an inaugural flight to Osaka and even featured (in the background) of one of our documentaries! I will put some achievements below to give you around up of the fantastic opportunities that await you: - Flew our GB Paralympic's home from Tokyo. - Progressed to to becoming a Senior Cabin Crew member. - Being an assessor in British Airways largest ever Cabin Crew Recruitment Campaign in 2021. - Moved to a ground-based role at Waterside to work in our Customer and Brand team. Overall, the biggest achievement is be part of an amazing airline and being proud to represent British Airways.
