BA future pilot / speedbird program for UK visa holders

View favourites

Hello, I am both a German and Australian citizen highly interested in becoming a pilot. Is it possible to apply for any of BAs speedbird or future pilot programs as an Australian citizen? My passport allows me to get a 2-3 year UK work visa until the age of 35. Kind regards Max

    Hey Max -

Sadly not :( The visa that an applicant must have needs to be unrestrictive. This is because, should the training take a little longer or the cadet lose their medical temporarily through training etc, the training may not be completed in full before the visa runs out.

I'm sorry that this is not the answer you were hoping for. Please do keep checking our careers page or sign up for alerts. Although there are no plans to be able to take candidates without a visa at this time, maybe something may change in the future.

All the best in your endeavours.
