British Airways offer many perks, but for me the pension is second to none. British Airways provide a great pension plan and offers a large contribution towards your pension. I think this is always something to consider alongside your salary when comparing companies, as this uplift makes a massive difference to your overall package. Another perk is the staff travel, we get unlimited standby tickets and 1 annual bookable concession ticket (depending on your band) which allows you to travel at a heavily discounted price, as well as this we have access to hotline where we can book discounted commercial tickets, hotels and car hire.

The main perks of working here for me are working in an inclusive and diverse environment. British Airways has a number of internal networks including Flying Proud, our LGBT+ network. I have attended various Flying Proud events demonstrating the company's comitmment to diversity including marching in London Pride alongside colleagues which was an amazing experience.

I also love the access to staff travel benefits (discounted travel) which I have used extensively including travelling to destinations such as Mexico City, New York, Singapore and Hong Kong.

One of my favourite British Airways perks is the various learning and development opportunities. Whether its enhancing your leadership skills, training skills, or becoming a more effective team member in your administration skills to developing brand new skills such as coaching and developing a business strategy. There is something available for everyone to grow and develop at their own pace and be the best they can be.

Every day is a different day for me, so much that I don't feel like I am stuck in a routine which excites me. Additionally of course the travel perks are brilliant for anyone who loves to travel.
