For speedbied academy would I have a better chance getting in if I have an engineering degree compared to other degrees

Is there any other degrees you would recommend that I should do to give me a better chance of getting in to sppedbord academy so I can become a commercial pilot I didnt do physics in high school so should I do that in college alongside with my degree

    Not necessarily...


    Having an engineering degree may help at the groundschool stage, however in order to apply, having a degree isn't the most important thing. We would like to see lots of motivation and a lot of the things that you could do to showcase this, can be done outside of academia.


    Personally, I would do something that you really enjoy, a three year university degree could feel very long if it is not something you like doing and vice versa, you could have the experience of your life if you look forward to going to the lectures. I would also focus on the extra curricular opportunities there, like University Air Squadrons or team sports.
