Hi Jacob, please refer to the preparation pack and links to flight schools that can give you more information - https://careers.ba.com/speedbird-pilot-academy-preparation I would also sign up to job alerts so you get notified when the applications open again in 2025 to ensure you don't miss out due to popularity. All the very best!

Hello, I'm attempting to create an alert for the Speedbird Pilot Training Academy, but I'm having trouble locating the correct 'Career Area' and 'Location'. Can anybody point me in the right direction?
    Thanks in advance!

Hi Kate, thank you for your prompt response! I had found the correct page, but initially it seemed to me as though I needed to select a specific location (out of a total of 228) in order to generate notifications, however that was an unnecessary step. So, I'm all set up now. I appreciate your time, thanks again.

Hello, thank you for your question about our Speedbird Pilot Academy. You can find all the details about the application process, preparation, and job alerts on the official British Airways Careers page. You can navigate to the 'Future Pilots' section for helpful resources and up-to-date guidance. This page is regularly updated and includes an option to sign up for job alerts to stay informed about when the programme reopens.

Hi. Following on from Aaron's advice you would need the right to live and work in the UK to be eligible for the Speedbird Pilot Academy. I hope this helps. Kate

Hi, How do I achieve the right to live and work in the uk and does the cbse work as a replacement to the gcse?

    Hi Dayakar.

You would need to look at the UK government website as we are unable to advise you on this. We do take other qualifications and use ENIC, Homepage | UK ENIC, to check if they are equivalent to GCSE's.

    Best wishes

    Kate
