At British Airways, we place great emphasis on safety and operational efficiency, which is why we require all cabin crew colleagues to meet certain physical requirements. As part of the onboarding process, every candidate must successfully pass a height and reach test to ensure they can perform critical safety duties.

In addition, we conduct a cabin crew seat harness check to confirm that each crew member can comfortably and securely wear the harness used during take-off, landing, and in-flight turbulence. These assessments are essential to maintaining the high safety standards expected of British Airways cabin crew.
