If I am offered a job and I don't have the right to work in UK and I show them the job offer, will I be able to work?
Will you be able to help me get the right to work and live in UK. I have an Italian passport.

Hello SK3LZONE -
You will need to the right to live and work in the UK before making an application if you are applying to our Speedbird Pilot Academy or EuroFlyer or CItyFlyer Direct Entry Pilot campaigns as we cannot sponsor candidates for this visa. Being in possession of an Italian passport on it's own will unfortunately mean you would not be able to apply to these unless you have settled status in the UK.

Hi.
If you are applying for mainline DEP role or a DEC role within the airline you will not require the right to live and work. Currently you would need a minimum of 500 hours on the A320, or 1500 hours on other suitable aircraft to qualify for for our mainline DEP role.
For all other roles you will need the right to live and work prior to application.
We currently do not take any newly qualified pilots at British Airways while we are running the Speedbird Pilot Academy campaigns. I cannot say what the situation would be in the future.
I hope this helps

British Airways are only able to sponsor an applicant for a visa if they are applying to one of our mainline campaigns, ie are already in possession of a license and have the hours. If you don't have this, then no, they will not be able to help you with obtaining the visa, as British Airways cannot sponsor anyone for a right to work visa, as a cadet.
