Meet our colleague

My passion for aviation has led me to study Aviation Management at Coventry University. Having gained experience at Queen Alia Airport in Amman, Jordan and Heathrow Airport, I went on to join British Airways within the Triage and Assurance Team, based within the Corporate Safety and Security Directorate. A key part of the role was the use of the Management System to enable the business to effectively manage safety and security risk. Furthering my knowledge of risk management principles has enabled me to progress within the Directorate, becoming the Triage and Assurance Team Leader, and have since become the Aviation Security Assurance Manager - UK & Europe.

I work alongside the business to provide specialist knowledge to enhance operational security effectiveness. Our remit covers aviation security across British Airways, ensuring we are able to operate in a secure way. Building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships is key to help us effectively manage our risk.

BA is a place where you can work alongside key stakeholders ensuring the safe and secure delivery of the operation. I have also taken part in the new BA TV advert which shall launch soon!

I continue to play my part in effective risk management. Being able to relate my previous experience to my current role allows me to think of new expand my knowledge of the operation.
