Hi Kate, I recently completed my training this year. However unfortunately I had a hiccup during the CPL Skill Test resulting in a second series pass. As far as I’ve seen the newly qualified pathaways, while applications are currently closed, require a first series pass in both the CPL and IR. Would you happen to know if these requirements would be changing in the near future?

Hi, I hope you’re well. I’m in the process of starting to think about an airline career. Before I start my PPL, the wise advice is to go and get the Class 1 medical. From what I’ve read, and from lots of research, I could well be given a Class 1 medical, but with multi-crew restrictions I.e. I won’t be able to fly solo. Not a problem for airliners. Now, this might not be a problem for a pilot currently employed, but do you know if this would cause issues with an new pilot and their employment prospects, albeit in the case where the restriction wasn’t eventually lifted?
